On 3 June 2020, the EU Council Presidency published a Progress Report on the proposal for an ePrivacy Regulation.
The report notes that the modifications introduced in the latest draft ePrivacy Regulation, in particular the possibility of relying on the legitimate interests ground, triggered mixed reactions from the Member States.
