On 27 August 2020, the Dutch DPA, Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (“AP”), announced the approval of the first code of conduct for the ICT sector.
Among other aspects, this code covers standard processing clauses for the processor agreement and the “Data Pro Statement” to inform data subjects about the implemented safeguards for the protection of personal data.
Furthermore, the AP mentions that it submitted to the EDPB the criteria for the accreditation of the supervisory body for this code, expecting a response by the end of the year.
