On 12 October 2020, the EDPB announced that during its 39th plenary session, has adopted guidelines on the concept of relevant and reasoned objection.
The EDPB stated that the guidelines will contribute to establish a common understanding of the notion “relevant and reasoned” under Article 4 (24) of the GDPR, and will help streamline future procedures under Article 65 of the GDPR.
