On 8 October 2020, the European Parliament adopted a Report with Recommendations to the Commission on a Framework of Ethical Aspects of Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, and Related Technologies.
Among others, the European Parliament requested the Commission to adopt a regulation on ethical principles for the development, deployment, and use of artificial intelligence, robotics, and related technologies. The Report includes the European Parliament’s regulation proposal in this respect.
