On 22 December 2020, the Romanian DPA announced a fine of EUR 2,000 was imposed against a company providing services for water treatment for failure to provide the information requested by the authority. Thus, the Romanian DPA found that the said controller violated Article 83 (5) e) corroborated with Article 58 (1) (a) and (e) and Article 58 (2) (i) of the GDPR.
The Romanian DPA also applied a corrective measure for the company to provide all the information requested through its previous addresses.
