On 19 June 2023, the Romanian DPA issued a press release informing on Decision No. 64/2023 approving the accreditation requirements for a code of conduct monitoring body under Article 41 of the GDPR (“Decision No. 64/2023”) being published in the Official Gazette.
Decision No. 64/2023 entered into force on the date of its publication in the Official Gazette, namely 14 June 2023.
Compared to the draft version that was released for public consultation (see our previous update on this here), it appears that the final text of Decision No. 64/2023 does not include any notable changes.
