On 9 June 2020, the French DPA (CNIL) published its 2019 Activity Report.
The key numbers for the CNIL’s activities performed over the past year include:
- 2,287 data breach notifications;
- 14,137 received complaints;
- 300 inspections;
- 7 fines amounting a total of EUR 51,370,000;
- 79 final decisions adopted within the one-stop shop framework.
