On 22 July 2020, the EDPB published Guidelines 06/2020 on the interplay of the Second Payment Services Directive and the GDPR.
Among other aspects, these Guidelines address the conditions under which Account Servicing Payment Service Providers (ASPSPs) grant access to payment account information to PISPs and AISPs, especially granular access to payment accounts.
These Guidelines are subject to public consultation and the feedback should be sent by 14 September 2020 at the latest.
