On 12 November 2020, the French DPA (“CNIL”) published a set of Q&As on working from home, including reminders of certain essential principles common to labor law and the GDPR.
Among other aspects, these Q&As address the definition of working from home, conditions for carrying out working from home, employee monitoring, the use of personal equipment, the use of a camera during video calls, third-party solutions, and what the CNIL can do following a complaint.
