On 27 September 2021, the European Data Protection Board (EDPB) announced its decision to establish a taskforce aiming to coordinate the response to complaints regarding cookie banners filed by the non-profit organization None of your business (NOYB) with several EEA Supervisory Authorities (SAs).
This taskforce’s mission is to promote cooperation, information sharing, and best practices between the SAs by exchanging views on legal assessments and possible infringements, providing support for country-level activities, and streamlining communication.
