On 18 June 2020, the Romanian DPA announced a EUR 4,000 fine was imposed on an energy company for failure to implement sufficient security measures to prevent accidental disclosure of data.
A corrective measure was also applied to implement adequate and efficient technical and organizational measures for ensuring data security.
