On 22 May 2020, the Finnish DPA announced three operators were fined for GDPR violations:
- a EUR 100,000 fine was imposed for breach of the transparency requirements;
- a EUR 16,000 fine was imposed for failure to perform a DPIA before monitoring location data of the employees;
- a EUR 12,500 fine was imposed for collecting unnecessary data for the employment relationship and the operator was ordered to delete the said data.
