On 10 June 2020, EGBA published a Code of Conduct (Code) establishing sector-specific rules and best practices to advance GDPR compliance in the online gambling sector. The Code was submitted to the Maltese DPA for approval. Subsequently, it will become mandatory for entities undertaking to apply it, as per Articles 40-41 GDPR.
