On 30 December 2020, the Spanish National Cybersecurity Institute (“INCIBE”) published a bulletin on its milestones of 2020.
Among other things, INCIBE underlines launching the cybersecurity telephone helpline, an increase in cybercrime due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and the increasing prevalence of the Emotet malware.
In addition, INCIBE noted that Adobe will no longer technically support Adobe Flash Player from 31 December 2020 and that the Internet Explorer 11 browser will no longer be compatible with the different characteristics of web pages and tools currently used in business services, such as the products of Microsoft, Adobe Inc., or other companies.
The full press release is available here, and the bulletin is available here (both only in Spanish).
