On 29 October 2020, the EDPB published on its website the final version of the Guidelines 4/2019 on Article 25 Data Protection by Design and by Default, adopted after public consultation, during its 40th plenary session.
As mentioned by the EDPB, the final version integrates updated wording and further legal reasoning in order to address comments and feedback received during the public consultation.
